Our Mission & Statement

We aims a providing a humane and personalized treatment of nervous and mental diseases in a restorative  setting-achievable by providing the best care and treatment in a safe, compassionate and respectful environment.

We aim to grow from a self-contained community for mental health to being the primary resource for Kashmir Valley's mental health and de-addiction needs.

To achieve our goals we aim to work on the principles of service provision across all age groups, comprising of inpatient treatment, rehabilitation services and a special educational training on-site, created in response to the growing needs of services across all age groups in our community. We aim to continue to update our therapeutic modalities and adopt "best practices" to provide all of our patients with life-changing treatments, such as ECT (Electro-Convulsive Therapy).

The most important facet of our success will be connection to the community at large.  We aim to offer continuing education programs and professional conferences that would have a sizable impact on the quality of psychiatric treatment in the area.  Community programs on mental health, wellness and addiction topics will also presented throughout the year at surrounding libraries, schools and professional organizations through our Speaker's Bureau.

Being a good community partner is essential for our continued success. Thinking of our future sustainability, we have the opportunity to develop and expand our services due to availability of space on our campus.
As we look forward to the future, we will increase our focus on promoting wellness and recovery, as well as work tirelessly to decrease the stigma of mental health and addictive illness.
